The Ballydonoghue/Lisselton Branch has had many All-Ireland champion dancers and musicians among their ranks. The dance group coming to Washington consists of eight kids (four couples) who won the All-Ireland Championship last year in the Set Dancing for age 12 and under. Many of the kids are also accomplished musicians. Two of them, Kilian O'Carroll (banjo) and Kevin O’Neill (accordion) won the All-Ireland Duet Championship. One of the five adult musicians who will be performing with the group, TP McNamara, won the All-Ireland Senior accordion title in 2001; his sister Katie (concertina, fiddle, singer) is also an All-Ireland champion. Branch delegate Karen Trench is an All-Ireland singer. Tour leader John Stack is the full time dance teacher and his pupils range from 4 to 17 years of age and have won many Irish National set dancing titles. They have one of the biggest dance groups and classes in Kerry with about 130 pupils all under 17. John teaches all over North Kerry and West Limerick.
