The 16th annual CCE IRISH FOLK FESTIVAL
sponsored by the CCE O'Neill-Malcom Branch with support from the Fairfax City Commission on the Arts, took place on Saturday, September 24th in historic downtown Fairfax City from noon to 6pm at: The Sherwood Community Center at Van Dyck Park, 3740 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030 AND The Auld Shebeen Irish Pub, 3971 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. Live traditional Irish music and dance at both the Sherwood Center, and at the Auld Sheebeen pub stage highlighted the day. A Ceili (country dance) that evening was held following the Festival at The Sherwood Center. 6:30 - 8:30pm. FREE!!
The Music at our 6:30pm ceili (at Sherwood) was provided by Shepherd's Pie & Teada!
